Hi.

The hardest part is beginning, so I'm told. If I can just begin this damn thing, perhaps I'll find that releasing some of my juju into the ether will make me a better writer, mother, person. I have my doubts, but I've always been the type to jump on the bandwagon at some point. Here I am, bandwagon. Nice to meet you.

If you boil down my existance to where my heart rests, you'll find I'm the mother of three daughters and the wife of a man I fell in love with in college.

And I'm going back to work. Everything about this decision has been difficult. Finding a job is difficult. Navigating my way through the guilt is difficult. What's easy is defining the need and making the plan. I feel very purpose-driven right now. I feel hopeful. The hope for change, for progress toward our goals, is enough to keep me positive and sane. That's all I can ask for right now.
